On the occasion of this important milestone, we thought it would be great to briefly tell you about our business and family history, which has been going on for over 100 years.
Bermec has inherited an ancient artisan tradition since the entrepreneurial adventure of the Bertolini family began in the early 20th century, in Talamona, with the great-grandfather of the current owner - Emanuele Bertolini.
He began working as a blacksmith, then his son specialised in the construction of winches and cableways, and Emanuele's parents later continued along this path by also opening a hardware store and adding a gas cylinder distribution service.
In 1986, the company had to move from the centre of town to the industrial area and Bermec was born, a workshop specialising in precision mechanical processing using the first numerically controlled machines. For the first few years of business, the production was concentrated on a single customer in the home town of Talamona.
Since then 35 years have passed and, through crises, achievements and successes, Bermec has never stopped creating work. Today we are proud of our 30 partner customers in Italy and Europe, dealing with productions for more than 15 different industrial sectors.
